Day 1: Arrive at Entebbe International Airport! Welcome to Uganda
Activities: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport (EBB). Meet and greet by your safari guide. Transfer to your hotel (10–15 minutes drive). Optional (time-permitting):
Visit the Entebbe Botanical Gardens for a relaxing walk. Explore the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC). Sunset by Lake Victoria.

Overnight:
Drive time: 6–7 hours (with stops). Activities: Early departure after breakfast. Drive northwest to Murchison Falls National Park. Stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary (2 hrs) for on-foot rhino tracking, the only place in Uganda to see wild rhinos. Lunch en route at Kabalega Diner or at Ziwa. Continue through Masindi to Murchison Falls. Enter through Kichumbanyobo Gate and enjoy a brief game drive. Optional: Sunset view at the top of the falls.

Overnight:
Activities: Early morning game drive in the northern sector (Paraa)-chances to see elephants, lions, giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeest, hyenas, and leopards. Return to the lodge for a late breakfast and rest. Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon boat cruise on the Victoria Nile to the base of the Murchison Falls. Spot hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, and diverse birdlife (including the shoebill stork, if lucky). Optional: Short hike to the top of the falls for dramatic views.

Drive time: 7–8 hours. Activities: Breakfast and early departure. Scenic drive via Hoima and Fort Portal, offering views of the Albertine Rift Valley, rural villages, and tea plantations. Stop for lunch in Fort Portal, the gateway to Uganda’s crater lakes and home to the Tooro Kingdom. Optional stop at Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru caves or the Royal Palace of Tooro. Continue to Kibale Forest National Park, check into your lodge.

Activities: Early breakfast. Transfer to Kanyanchu Visitor Centre for briefing. Join a ranger-led chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale Forest (2–5 hrs). Also spot red colobus, L’Hoest’s monkey, and forest birds. Return for lunch. Afternoon: Guided Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary community walk. Visit a local women’s craft group, learn about herbal medicine, and see birds and monkeys. An optional evening storytelling or drumming session with the local community.

Drive time: 3 hours. Activities: Leisurely drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. En route: Visit crater lakes or tea estates (optional). Enter the park via Kasese and check in at your lodge. Late afternoon game drive in the Kasenyi plains- look out for lions, Uganda kob, elephants, and warthogs.

Activities: Early morning game drive through the savannah of Queen Elizabeth. Lions, hyenas, elephants, buffalo, and various antelope species. Return for breakfast or enjoy a bush breakfast (optional). Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a 40km waterway linking Lake Edward and Lake George.
Observe massive pods of hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, elephants, and hundreds of waterbirds.
Optional Cultural Experience: Visit Katwe Salt Lake to learn traditional salt mining methods from local families.

Drive time: 4–5 hours. Activities: Drive south through the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth.
Look for tree-climbing lions in fig trees! Picnic lunch in Ishasha. Continue into the Bwindi highlands, with breathtaking mountain and forest views. Check into your forest lodge and relax.

Overnight (based on tracking location – Buhoma, Rushaga, or Nkuringo):
Activities: Early breakfast and packed lunch. 7:30 AM: Report to UWA Briefing Point. Grouped into 8 with guides and trackers. Enter the forest for gorilla tracking – duration 2 to 6+ hrs depending on group location. Spend 1 unforgettable hour with a gorilla family in their natural habitat. Return, receive the tracking certificate, and rest.
Optional Afternoon Activities: Batwa Cultural Encounter: Meet forest-dwelling Batwa pygmies, learn traditional dance, hunting techniques, and visit homesteads. Forest walk or birding around the lodge.

Option 1 – Fly: Morning or afternoon domestic flight from Kihihi/Kisoro to Entebbe (~1.5 hrs). Option 2 – Drive: Full-day scenic drive (8–10 hrs) back to Entebbe with stopovers. Equator crossing in Kayabwe – souvenir shopping and photo op. Lunch in Mbarara or Masaka.
Evening: Transfer to the airport for international flight OR stay overnight in Entebbe.
